{"id":656,"date":"2020-01-22T11:50:17","date_gmt":"2020-01-22T11:50:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.koschel-consultancy.de\/?p=656"},"modified":"2020-01-22T11:50:17","modified_gmt":"2020-01-22T11:50:17","slug":"moderating-the-panel-stopping-the-flood-of-plastic","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.koschel-consultancy.de\/?p=656","title":{"rendered":"Moderating the Panel &#8220;Stopping the Flood of Plastic&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The GSTC 2019 Global Conference \u201cNavigating the Way Forward in Sustainable Tourism\u201d took place at Terceira Island, Azores on December 4-7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nicola Koschel had the honor of moderating a WWF-panel called &#8220;<strong>Stopping the Flood of Plastic&#8221;.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Travelers are suddenly reducing their use of plastic straws, but how do we as an industry go bigger and deeper and more quickly in reducing all single-use plastic materials? We need to reduce plastics quickly due to the environmental impacts and the surging levels of awareness and concern by travelers.
