March 2022 – 2026: Coordination and Lead “Impact” for “The Tourism Impact Alliance”
Coordination between the project partners TourCert and GSTC and taking the lead of the “impact management” of the 4-year project “The Tourism Impact Alliance”. The Impact Alliance builds on the predecessor project Collaborative Online Audit System (COASYS). The project shall support sustainable tourism transformation through better impact measurement and audit structures. An initiative by TourCert in cooperation with the GSTC. Jan. to July 2021: Coordination and moderation of the international certifiers panel of COASYS
Coordinating and moderating the international certifiers panel of COASYS (Collaborative Online Audit System), a joint initiative of TourCert together with the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC), The Austrian Ecolabel and Green Star Hotel Egypt. The objective was to improve verification and SDG impacts of certified tourism enterprises. The project was co-funded by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO). Client: GSTC.
Aug 2020 – March 2021: Development of a sustainability Index for IDM, South Tyrol
Development of a sustainability index for the Autonomous Province of Bolzano-South Tyrol on behalf of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) and in cooperation with the Austrian consulting AlpS and Vitalpin e.V. Based on the GSTC criteria sustainability indicators and a roadmap for the implementation of sustainability in South Tyrolean tourism have been developed. The aim was to comprehensively integrate the topic of sustainability in tourism in South Tyrol. Client: IDM, Bolzano, GSTC

Co-hosting of the online training class of the GSTC Sustainable Tourism Training Program (STTP) in cooperation with Innovation Norway with 80 participants from across Norway. Duration: 4 weeks. Client: GSTC
