MERIAN-interview

Nicola Koschel was interviewed by the deputy chief editor Hansjörg Falz of Germany’s oldest travel magazine MERIAN. The interview took place in front of the audience at the “Globetrotter Fair”, the fair for “‘alternative travel”, in Hamburg on December 5th 2010. The topic of the interview was “The future of traveling” while highlighting the negative impacts tourism can have and offering solutions to travel more sustainable with 10 theses presented to the audience. After the interview a discussion with the audience evolved about sustainable and non-sustainable tourism practices and tips for the industry and the tourists themselves.
