“Biodiversity All Inclusive” launched

With the aim to use sustainable tourism to protect nature and biodiversity in Germany, the WWF together with suppliers of the tourism industry launched the project “Biodiversity all inclusive”. The first workshop took place in Lenzen on 2.- 3. February 2012.

Projects participants are Germany’s largest hotel chain Accor with their hotel brands Novotel, Sofitel, Mercure, Ibis and Etap, Germany’s second largest tour operator REWE with their brands ITS, Tjaereborg, Meier’s Weltreisen, ADAC Reisen, Jahn Reisen and Dertour as well as tour operators from the “Forum Anders Reisen” (a network of tour operators offering alternative and sustainable travel packages) like ReNatour, Spreescouts and Aventerra.

The results will be presented during ITB 2013.
